Jeff ‘s background includes extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of diversity and inclusion, disability/public policy, communications, and stakeholder engagement. Including the not for profit sector, Jeff worked with all three levels of government in human resources, social services, public health, employment and housing. At the City of Ottawa he was responsible for liaising between the City of Ottawa and community stakeholders on a range of social issues including the development of a city wide accessibility plan/policy. At the provincial level, Jeff was responsible for community development, grants and contributions and social policy.
In 2005, Jeff was one of the first members appointed to the newly formed Accessibility for Ontarians Disability Act standards advisory council where he provided the Ontario Government advice and guidance on a range of issues. In particular, the development of the employment and customer service standard (s). At the federal level, Jeff has worked with departments such as Employment and Social Development, Industry Canada and Treasury Board Secretariat in human resources, strategic policy and human rights.
