Chantal Trudel is an industrial designer and a professional ergonomist with over 10 years of industry experience in product design, architecture and healthcare planning. Trudel and her students explore and apply principles and methods from design and human factors to support people’s health and ability to participate more fully in society. Trudel draws attention to the importance of participatory design in real world, complex contexts in order to identify opportunities to foster a continuum of health, whether it be in clinical environments or daily settings.
